Easy to Assemble
While many of the steel workbenches that we have looked at so far on this list come mostly assembled already (with the exception of attachable pegboard) this particular unit is going to require a little bit of handiwork before it is usable. Granted, if you are reading this you probably don’t have much of a problem with handiwork, but it can still be a bit of a drag to have to assemble something when all you want to do is try it out.
Fortunately, assembly with the Windsor is easy and straightforward, so if you read the instructions you should have your workbench up in no time.
Solid
Obviously, the fact that this is a wooden bench is going to mean that it functions a little bit differently than the steel alternatives that we have seen on this list. Wood can be something of a risk because quality can vary pretty significantly, but the good news is that you are getting really high-quality materials with this unit.
The top table and the bottom shelf are each capable of holding up to two hundred pounds of weight, which means that they shouldn’t have any trouble sustaining whatever tools and work pieces you are using.
The drawers are able to hold up to twenty-five pounds, which is still pretty good, though it may limit what you are able to put in them.
